Културен център „Харес“

Harres is a multipurpose cultural, conference and sports complex in St. Leon-Rot. Its performance facilities include the Großer Saal, the smaller Badener Saal, seminar rooms and a glazed foyer; the sports hall is a separate component. The Großer Saal covers approximately 467 square metres and accommodates up to 800 in row seating including the gallery, or 300 in a conference arrangement. Concerts and touring stage productions form part of a wider programme that also includes meetings, local association events and private celebrations. St. Leon-Rot is two villages under one municipal roof, set in the Rhine plain between Heidelberg and Bruchsal, and the Harres is their shared cultural centre. It works as such places do: a large hall for concerts and assemblies, smaller rooms for clubs and courses, a calendar filled by local societies and visiting performers. Orchestral evenings there have opened with the overture to Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro — festive, familiar, and exactly right for a hall of this kind.
