The Maestro Georgi Atanasov Concert Hall stands at 2 Bulgaria Boulevard in Pazardzhik. It hosts the city's orchestral activity and provides a venue for conducting masterclasses and their public concerts. The hall also contains an organ documented in research on Bulgarian concert organs, giving it a place in the country's relatively small network of secular organ venues. The name belongs to Georgi Atanasov (1882–1931), called simply Maestro Atanasov, the composer who gave Bulgaria its first operas and whose scores remain the foundation of the national repertoire. Pazardzhik's concert hall carries it, and hosts the town's Winter Music Days, the festival by which this Thracian-plain city marks the cold months with orchestral and chamber programmes.
