Международен музикален фестивал „Моцартови празници“ – Правец

Held in Pravets each summer since 2004 and run by the association Mozartovi Praznitsi–Pravets '04 with the municipality, under the patronage of the Minister of Culture. The programme mixes opera, ballet, drama and symphonic concerts; anniversaries of other composers are marked alongside Mozart, and puppet opera and children's programmes sit next to the main evenings. Performances are spread across the town — the open-air stage by the lake in front of the Riu Pravets resort, the ballroom, the Zarya 1895 community hall and the square in front of the municipal building.
