Оркестър на театър „Франческо Чилеа“

Formed in 2003 by musicians from Reggio Calabria who had played in orchestras elsewhere in Italy and abroad, and turned from an association into a cooperative in 2005, it is the resident ensemble for the opera and symphony seasons of the Teatro Comunale Francesco Cilea. Traviata, Aida, Tosca, Norma and Turandot have passed through its stands, under Nicola Luisotti, Daniel Oren and Riccardo Frizza, with Leo Nucci and Giuseppe Filianoti among the soloists. It played the Puccini Festival and Aspendos in Turkey in 2008 and the closing of Taormina Arte in 2010; December in Reggio belongs to the Nutcracker.
