This is not a hall but the open square of the former princely court in the upper town of Piatra-Neamț, hemmed in by the church of the Nativity of St John the Baptist of 1497–1498 and the bell tower raised in 1499, both listed monuments of the Curtea Domnească ensemble. Concerts are played there in the open air on summer evenings, the square serving as the main stage of the Vacanțe Muzicale festival run by the Carmen Saeculare centre of Neamț county. It is also called Platoul Curții Domnești.
