Серенаденхоф

Nuremberg's concert life moves outdoors in summer to the Serenadenhof, an open-air performance courtyard within the Kongresshalle complex, connected with the Musiksaal and its foyer but a separate outdoor venue. It holds 887 seated or up to 1,000 standing, and much of the seating and the raised stage are protected by sail canopies. Programming is wide — symphonic evenings, choral works written for large forces, jazz and popular tours. It presents summer concerts by the Nürnberger Symphoniker and visiting performers, with programming extending from classical music to rock, pop and comedy.
