Щадтхале Балинген

Opened in 1981 on the Hirschbergstraße and enlarged in 2010, the hall is owned outright by the town of Balingen and run as a municipal operation; the same office also programmes events elsewhere in the town. It takes up to a thousand people for concerts, lectures and congresses, and every few years it clears for an art exhibition of more than local reach — Chagall, Picasso, Miró, Klimt, Kirchner, and in 2020 a James Rizzi retrospective. The municipal indoor pool shares the building complex.
