Щадтхале Брауншвайг

Opened in 1965 on the Leonhardplatz to a design by Heido Stumpf and Peter Voigtländer, the hall holds 2,950 people across a large hall, a small hall and a lecture hall, which can be joined or used separately. Between 1965 and 2015 it counted 25,000 events and more than fifteen million visitors; in a normal year over a thousand events bring some 300,000 people through it. It is run by Braunschweiger Veranstaltungsstätten GmbH. The building is currently closed for refurbishment, with reopening planned for 2028.
