Щадтхале Гермерсхайм

Germersheim keeps two municipal venues — the Bürgerhaus and this hall — and the Stadthalle is the larger of them, used for concerts and touring theatre, exhibitions, congresses, seminars and club evenings. The city administration lets it directly. It stands near the centre of the old Rhine fortress town, with the square of green called the Stadtgarten between it and the primary school, and its rear entrance on the continuation of the Ritter-von-Schmauß-Straße. Stadthalle Germersheim entered service in 1960 during the town's post-war expansion and modernisation. The neighbouring municipal garden followed in 1961. Located near the town centre, it forms part of the municipal network of venues serving Germersheim's residents and visiting performers.
