Щадтзал, Мюлдорф ам Ин

Mühldorf am Inn, an Upper Bavarian market town whose arcaded Stadtplatz survives almost whole, keeps its municipal hall for the uses such halls have always served — civic occasions, balls, orchestral evenings, and the visits of touring opera companies that give smaller towns their staged repertoire. Programmes heard there have run from Mozart, whose Le nozze di Figaro has been drawn on, to Bizet's Carmen.
