Градски театър Липщат

Opened in 1973 to a design by Gerhard Graubner, the Lippstadt house was built around an open stage and has no company of its own. The town owns it; programming and technical operation lie with Kultur und Werbung Lippstadt. What is played is brought in: two-hander chamber pieces at one end of the range, full opera productions with live orchestra at the other — Nabucco played there in January 2010. A modernisation between 2018 and 2021 added step-free access and renewed the technical installations.
