The theatre shares a single block on the Plaza de San Juan with the Casino Turolense, the two set in parallel bands behind one façade that mixes the regionalist masonry of Teruel with neo-Mudéjar brickwork. The house itself follows the Italian plan, with more than 800 places across stalls, side boxes and amphitheatres, a polychrome flat ceiling and decoration running from historicist to Mudéjar. Aragon catalogued casino and theatre together as protected cultural property in 2009; both remain in use and a meeting point in the town.
