Bucharest's Sala Palatului holds both of Teocta's evenings, and neither was an ordinary orchestral one. On 7 December 2008 the Romanian organiser filled the hall with Die Nacht der 5 Tenöre, a programme that opened with Rossini's overture to Il barbiere di Siviglia and then handed the stage to Stoyan Daskalov, Giuliano di Filippo, Vincenzo Sanso, Orfeo Zanetti and Luigi Frattola for Verdi, Donizetti and Massenet. Eleven months later, on 5 November 2009, the same hall and the same organiser brought Jon Lord onto that stage for his Concerto for Group and Orchestra, the Deep Purple piece Pictures of Home and Pictured Within, with Katarzyna Łaska and Steve Balsamo singing beside him.
