The Spirit of Pleven is a registered association that publishes an online outlet of the same name, reporting on art, culture and volunteering in Pleven and the surrounding district, with a standing interest in local performers who have gone on to work abroad. Daniela Docheva edits it; the reproductive medicine centre St. Elisabeth, headed by Emiliyana Konova, funds the project. Beyond publishing, the association puts on events of its own — a book presentation in Pleven in September 2021 among them.
