Терменплац – Мерано

Open-air concerts in Meran gravitate towards the Thermenplatz, the square laid out beside the town's spa complex on the bank of the Passer. The name appears in both of South Tyrol's languages — Thermenplatz and Piazza Terme — as does nearly everything else here. Ringed by the glass bathing halls and close to the riverside promenades, the square takes summer events of a size that suits it: festival concerts, civic occasions and open-air programmes that run into the evening.
