Венеция Фестивал Опера

Touring staged opera without a house of its own is this Munich-based company's business: productions assembled for halls, churches and open-air arenas across German-speaking Europe. The Italian repertory carries the programme, La bohème among the titles, and the summer months bring lighter bills — film-music nights within the Münchner Open Air Sommer series among them. The Venetian name belongs to the branding rather than the geography; the working base is Bavaria.
