Фолксхаус Дорнах-Аухоф – Линц

Volkshaus Dornach-Auhof is a municipal community and seminar venue at Niedermayrweg 7 in Linz. Its main hall seats up to 350 people in rows and has a separate stage; a smaller hall accommodates 140. The building also provides classrooms, group rooms and a gymnasium, allowing courses and association activities to take place alongside larger public events. Stage lighting, sound equipment and performers' dressing facilities support its use as a neighbourhood performance venue within the city's Volkshaus network. North of the Danube, Dornach-Auhof grew around the campus of the Johannes Kepler University, and its Volkshaus serves a mixed population of students and long-settled residents. Like the other district houses of Linz it offers a hall for civic and social use — assemblies, courses, celebrations — and its stage is available to visiting musicians, so that symphonic and chamber programmes reach an audience that would otherwise have to cross the river for them.
