Sofia and Plovdiv have been among the stages of Aida Pascu's work, in performances from 2021 onwards alongside Hae Kang, Aleksandrina Mihaylova, Arianna Cimolin and Donghyun Kim. Romanian by birth, she trained in Bucharest and at the Gheorghe Dima academy in Cluj-Napoca before a New Bulgarian University scholarship took her to Raina Kabaivanska's class at the Vecchi-Tonelli conservatoire in Modena. Her first Mimì came at Sofia Opera in December 2022, a part she later repeated in Bucharest, Florence and Berlin, and her stage roles also take in Donna Anna and Nedda. The International Classical Music Awards named her Young Artist of the Year in 2024.
