Биография
Touring Germany in January 2025 with the Plovdiver Symphoniker, Alejo Ruiz appeared in Die Nacht der 5 Tenöre alongside Vincenzo Sanso, Mihail Mihaylov, Luigi Frattola and Marc Marshall. His training began in Buenos Aires, where he took guitar and violin alongside singing, and continued with Laura Sarti in London and with Mark Tucker and Raminta Lampsatis in Hamburg. On stage he has sung Tamino for Opernwerkstatt am Rhein, Max in Der Freischütz for Sakrale Oper Berlin and Turiddu in Vienna, with Cascada in The Merry Widow and the Minister in Wiener Blut on the operetta side, and Siegmund stands in his repertoire. His postgraduate course in classical operetta at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversitaet der Stadt Wien closed with that Minister, while the Turiddu was sung with the orchestra of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Siegmund under Wolfgang Fritzsche. In 2021 he took first prize at the International Opera Competition of Lithuania, which carried with it the Jonas Mekas scholarship linking Kaunas, Vienna and New York, and Lithuania, Berlin, Braunschweig, Eggenfelden and a number of Austrian stages followed. Boni in Kalman's Die Csardasfuerstin with the Donau Philharmonie Wien led to two further concerts of French repertoire and to his Czech debut. For 2025 and 2026 he was engaged as Dr Blind in Die Fledermaus with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.
