Биография
A member of the Stuttgart State Opera ensemble until 2019, Ana Durlovski built her coloratura repertoire — the Queen of the Night, Lucia, Violetta, Gilda, Zerbinetta, Sophie, Amina — across two German companies in succession: Mainz from 2006 to 2011, Stuttgart thereafter. She was born in Štip and studied at the faculty of music of Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, making her debut at the Macedonian Opera in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor and appearing early on in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Albania. Guest engagements have taken her to the Bavarian State Opera, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Vienna State Opera and the Teatro Real, and contemporary work has run alongside the bel canto throughout. Her Vienna debut in 2006 was as the Queen of the Night, the role that also took her to the Metropolitan Opera in 2014 and to Baden-Baden, Dresden and the Bregenz Festival, and in 2016 and 2017 she sang the Forest Bird in Siegfried at Bayreuth. Morgana, La Folie, Soeur Constance, Olympia and Elvira in I puritani belong to her stage roles as well, and she is a member of the new-music ensemble Alea.
