Андреа Барбато

During 2021 Andrea Barbato sang as a soloist in Sofia and Plovdiv, in casts with Galina Ovchinnikova, Vincenzo Spinelli, Chiara Mogini and Kwangsik Park. Barbato graduated from the Cesare Pollini Conservatory in Padua in 2018, having made his stage debut three years earlier as Fracasso in Mozart's La finta semplice at the Teatro Sociale in Rovigo. Anfinomo in Monteverdi's Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria at Vicenza, Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore in Padua and Alfredo in La traviata at Villa Contarini followed, and in 2021 he also attended Raina Kabaivanska's masterclass, singing that year at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv. He took second prize at the Maurizio Graziani competition in Adria in 2022.
