Андреа Рола

Touring Germany in 2002, Andrea Rola sang in performances at Stuttgart, Esslingen, Mannheim and Bad Kreuznach, in company with Marietta Velkova, Anton Radev, Antoaneta Baldjieva and Ivan Kabamitov. He came to singing through his father's teaching, turned to it in earnest from 1995, and made his stage debut in Cavalleria rusticana in the Florentine province in 1998. Nineteen years later he sang Alfio in the same opera at the Palazzo Pfanner in Lucca, and his work has also taken him to Australia as well as to Tuscan and German stages. His Australian appearances included the title role in Melbourne Opera’s Rigoletto.
