Ангелина Гаврилова

Angelina Gavrilova is a Bulgarian dancer and choreographer who has appeared in Sofia Philharmonic programmes since 2014, on evenings shared with Deyan Donkov, Stefaniya Koleva and Tsvetan Nedyalkov. She is associated with Arabesque, the Sofia contemporary dance company. She trained with Kalina Bogoeva at the National School of Dance Art, graduating in 1996, and had already joined Arabesque as a student before becoming one of its soloists, her roles growing out of work with Wayne McGregor, Maurice Causey, Boryana Sechanova and Mila Iskrenova. In 2025 she took over from Sechanova as the company's artistic director. In 2011 she began teaching modern dance techniques, composition and improvisation at the National School of Dance Art.
