Биография
The 2003 season at the Sofia National Opera found Anna Cuo in a company that included Mikolai Zalasinski, Laura Brioli, Ivan Momirov and Dimiter Stanchev. She moved to mezzo-soprano repertoire in 2010. Born in Vienna and raised in Rome, she studied piano at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory and began her vocal training with her mother, the soprano Miwako Matsumoto, later working with Gabriella Tucci and Iris Adami Corradetti. A prize at Santa Margherita Ligure in 1996 was followed by her debut as Mimì in La bohème, and she went on to sing in the opera houses of Rome, Florence and Montpellier and in Japan, with Rossini's Petite Messe solennelle and Mahler's Second Symphony among her concert work.
