Ан Флоранс Марбо

Among the soloists in the choral concert the State Opera Rousse gave at Solothurn on 30 June 2009 was Anne Florence Marbot, on a bill with Olga Savova, Vladimir Petrov, Noemi Nadelmann and Jana Bernathova. A soprano trained in Bern and in Freiburg im Breisgau, she completed the Swiss Opera Studio with distinction and sang in the ensembles of Biel-Solothurn and of Bern before turning to freelance opera and concert work, which took her to Nuremberg and Nice. Awards from the Kiefer-Hablitzel, Mosetti, Migros and Ernst Göhner foundations supported her along the way, and she teaches singing and vocal development.
