Биография
Ayhan Uştuk began at the İzmir State Conservatory and graduated with high honours from the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at Bilkent University, dividing his singing since between opera, concert work with Turkish orchestras and international festivals. He performs with Trio Anka, formed with the cellist Demet Gökalp and the guitarist Kağan Korad — a combination of voice, cello and guitar for which the group performs its own arrangements and newly composed works. He has been placed in several vocal competitions, among them contests in the Italian operatic tradition. Further study took him to the Accademia d'Arte Lirica in Osimo, where he worked with Sergio Segalini, Rodolfo Celletti and Alberto Zedda, and the Giuseppe Di Stefano competition was among those he won. He became a soloist of the Ankara State Opera and Ballet in 1995, and abroad has sung Alfredo at the Wexford Festival, Corrado in Mercadante's Donna Caritea at Martina Franca and Nemorino at the Pesaro summer festival.
