Бичан Лий

A tenor from South Korea, Bichan Lee — romanised on the Kabaivanska Fund's own pages as Eunchan Lee — graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Vocal Music of the Korea National University of Arts in 2020, after early stage work in Le nozze di Figaro in 2016 and Lucia di Lammermoor in 2017 in Korea. He first attended Raina Kabaivanska's international masterclass at New Bulgarian University in 2022 and was taken into her academy, and from 2023 studied at the Conservatory of Piacenza with Anna Maria Chiuri; a special prize at the Felice Lattuada international competition in 2024 and a scholarship from the Voci Mascagnane competition in 2025 followed. On 19 September 2025 he sang in the gala concert of the XXV Kabaivanska masterclass at the Sofia National Opera, conducted by Nayden Todorov.
