Елиса Барберо

In 2010 Elisa Barbero appeared in a Sofia Philharmonic concert in the capital, on a bill she shared with Daniel Stefanov, Kiril Sharbanov and Silvia Teneva, and in which Raina Kabaivanska took part. Her training began at the Turin conservatory with Silvana Silbano and continued with Antonio Abete and Alessandro Corbelli, and her Sofia appearances followed the masterclass Kabaivanska gave there in 2010. She had made her stage debut in Donizetti's Il campanello under Mario Lamberto and had sung Dido in Purcell's opera; Fenena in Nabucco also belongs to her repertoire, alongside sacred programmes with the Accademia Stefano Tempia.
