Биография
Emil Ponorski recorded the bass solo in Verdi's Messa da Requiem with the Choir and Orchestra of the Sofia Opera under Ivan Marinov. A graduate of the Sofia academy, he was taken into the Sofia Opera as a soloist while still studying, and went on to work with Boris Christoff in Rome and Olivera Miljaković in Vienna. He paints as well as sings, his portraits including Raina Kabaivanska and Nicola Ghiuselev, and his canvases were part of a group exhibition at Sofia City Hall in October 2015.
