Еунчан Лий

October 2022 found Eunchan Lee in Bulgaria Hall, singing in an opera gala with the Sofia Philharmonic in a programme of emerging singers from Europe and Asia. The South Korean tenor had come to Bulgaria through Raina Kabaivanska's international school. He graduated from the Korea National University of Arts in 2020 and entered the Piacenza Conservatory in 2023, studying with Anna Maria Chiuri. He received a special prize at the Felice Lattuada competition in 2024 and scholarships from Voci Mascagnane and the Raina Kabaivanska Fund in 2025, the latter supporting study at the Vecchi–Tonelli Institute in 2025/26.
