Федерико Пачоти

Pop came first: Federico Paciotti, born in Rome in 1987, was a member of Gazosa, the group that won the newcomers' section of the Sanremo Festival in 2001. Voice study at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome followed, and he has worked since as tenor and guitarist across opera, rock and crossover — in concerts, television productions and international ceremonies. He writes for Italian pop and records his own material. For the PyeongChang Winter Paralympics of 2018 he composed the official theme song, Here as One. His album Rosso Opera, issued digitally in 2017, sets operatic singing against rock guitar and includes a track made with Ramón Vargas, and in 2020 he worked with Sumi Jo and Giovanni Allevi on Life Is a Miracle. He completed his singing studies at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in 2018.
