Биография
Giuseppe Nova's debut, in 1982, was as soloist with the RAI Symphony Orchestra; behind it lay studies in Italy and at the Lyon conservatoire with Maxence Larrieu. The flute has since taken him across Europe, the Americas and Asia, in company with I Virtuosi di Praga, the Ensemble of Tokyo and the Tübinger Kammerorchester. His awards include an international chamber-music prize in Kyoto, the European Award for Artistic and Cultural Activities in Prague in 2011 and the Best Artist award at the Busan Maru festival in Korea in 2018. He records for Camerata Tokyo and Universal, has been called upon as an instrumental expert by the higher conservatoires of Lausanne and Lyon, and teaches at the Conservatoire de la Vallée d'Aoste. Sanremo and Arma di Taggia, along the same stretch of Ligurian coast, were where he played as soloist after the Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo engaged him in 2016. Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Rudolfinum in Prague and the Seoul Arts Center are among the halls he has played, and he has held a visiting artist appointment at St Mary's College of Maryland.
