Илиян Недев

Bulgaria Hall, September 2006: Ilian Nedev sang in the gala of Raina Kabaivanska's master class, a programme running from Mozart and Donizetti to Cilea, Tchaikovsky and Lehár, with the Sofia Philharmonic and the choir of the New Bulgarian University. Born in Ruse in 1982, he sang as a boy in the city's boys' choir and graduated in 2008 from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, where his teacher of opera singing was Ilka Popova. With Kiril Iliev and Aleksandar Gospodinov he forms Trio Tenorite, whose programmes set classical vocal music beside Bulgarian popular song.
