Кевин Трайбер

Kevin Treiber has performed in chamber ensembles: he played in the Quartet Berlin-Tokyo and was a founding member of the vision string quartet. Born in Taiwan in 1992 and brought up in Frankfurt am Main, he studied the viola with Nimrod Guez in Würzburg and Barbara Westphal at the Musikhochschule Lübeck, and worked with Máté Szücs. As a soloist he has appeared with the Jena Philharmonic, the Akademie Ensemble Modern, the Wendland Sinfonieorchester and the orchestra of the Kala Academy in Goa, and he has played at the Rheingau Musik Festival, Heidelberger Frühling, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, the Mozartfest Würzburg and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. By 2019 he was a member of the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg. He won third prize at the Hindemith Competition in Frankfurt in 2017.
