Биография
Yambol heard Handel and Vivaldi on 11 October 2020 in a programme titled The Four Seasons, given by the Dianopolis Chamber Orchestra, with Krasimira Sultanova sharing the solo writing with the violinist Pavel Zlatarov. Born in Yambol in 1974 into a family of musicians — her father the conductor Nikolay Sultanov, who had been charged with founding the town's chamber orchestra in 1968, her mother a cellist who joined it at that first audition — she had her earliest violin lessons from him. At nine she entered the music school in Burgas, continued at the music school in Sofia, and at eighteen went to Germany to the violin masterclass of Rosa Fain. She plays first violin in the Dianopolis Chamber Orchestra of Yambol and has appeared as a guest with European orchestras. Her brother is the opera singer Georgi Sultanov. She completed her studies at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf.
