Любов Островска

Liubov Ostrovska is a Ukrainian soprano who trained at the conservatory in Lviv and then at the High School of Musical Arts in Bratislava with Peter Mikuláš, and who has appeared with the Opera of the Slovak National Theatre in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, among them as Nebohá in Smetana's Hubička and Emmie in Britten's Albert Herring. A laureate of several international competitions, she went on to study with Raina Kabaivanska in Modena as a holder of the Kabaivanska Fund scholarship for 2025/26, and on 19 September 2025 she sang in the gala concert of the XXV Kabaivanska masterclass at the Sofia National Opera, conducted by Nayden Todorov. In March 2026 she was the soloist with the orchestra of the Bratislava High School of Musical Arts under Ondrej Ološ in the concert hall of the Slovak Philharmonic.
