Любомир Дяковски

Lyubomir Dyakovski took part in the Easter concert given by the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra on 20 April 2022, appearing with Valeri Tsolov. Born on 1 March 1950 in Dupnitsa, Dyakovski is an opera singer with more than fifty roles of the international repertoire behind him, sung on every Bulgarian opera stage. He was among the founders of the Pleven Opera Hristo Brambarov and stayed with it until the house closed; he has gone on appearing in Vienna and has taken up choral conducting. He was director of the Pleven Philharmonic in 2024. Pleven and Dupnitsa have each made him an honorary citizen, and his name is attached to charitable gifts in Pleven, among them a donation to the Chapel-Mausoleum of St George the Victorious.
