Марио Арсенов

Bulgarian singer Mario Arsenov worked in Raina Kabaivanska's international master class in 2016 and appeared in the gala that closed the course, given at the Sofia Opera in the September of that year. He is the younger son of the bass profundo Arsen Arsenov, soloist of the Bulgarian Choral Capella and of Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares, who died in December 2020; his brother Nikolay Arsenov has sung for many years at the Arena di Verona. He read opera singing at the National School of Music and at New Bulgarian University in Sofia, and held a scholarship of the Raina Kabaivanska Fund in 2016. The 2016 award supported his studies at the Vecchi-Tonelli institute in Modena during the 2016–17 academic year.
