Биография
Mitchell Froom co-wrote Tomorrow Never Dies with Sheryl Crow and played keyboards on the recording, work that brought a Golden Globe nomination in 1998 and a Grammy nomination for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture in 1999. Born in 1953 and formed as a keyboard player in Sonoma County, California, he made his name as a producer with a taste for distressed, close-miked sound: the first three Crowded House albums, Los Lobos including Kiko, Suzanne Vega, Richard Thompson, Elvis Costello and Paul McCartney. With members of Los Lobos he formed the Latin Playboys, a studio band assembled out of tape experiments. He turned down an invitation to join Crowded House in the late 1980s, then became an official member when the band reformed in 2019.
