Олая Ламата

Olaia Lamata is an opera singer whose stage work includes an international production. A mezzo-soprano from Pamplona, in full Olaia Lamata Ezcurdia, she began her vocal studies at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory of Music there with Mercedes Gorria and took her bachelor's degree in singing at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Mario Diaz. In March 2024 she sang the alto part in a work the university had commissioned for its Mozart:Forum, conducted by its dedicatee Jorn Andresen; in June 2024 she sang Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro for the Mozarteum; and in October 2024 she sang Wagner's Wesendonck Lieder in the Haus fur Mozart with the Mozarteum University orchestra under Ion Marin.
