Стефан Пенчев

Two productions a few weeks apart in March 2017 show the span of Stefan Penchev's repertoire: Il barbiere di Siviglia at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, and Der Rosenkavalier at home in Rousse. A soloist of the State Opera Rousse, he sings from Mozart and Rossini through Verdi, Puccini, Bizet and Massenet to Richard Strauss. He was cast by the director Gian Gianotti on his first visit to Rousse and has taken small roles in both of Gianotti's productions for the company, Don Pasquale and Le nozze di Figaro.
