Theodore Browne appeared at the Sofia National Opera on 27 September 2020, in the gala that closed Raina Kabaivanska's master class, among singers who included Eva Jeong, Giuseppe Infantino, Galina Ovchinnikova and Yoana Kadiyska. Born in Manchester to English and South African parents, Browne grew up in Germany and between 2012 and 2025 completed three degrees with Thomas Heyer at the Hochschule fuer Musik in Frankfurt. He took prizes at the International Music Competition of the Hochschule fuer Musik und Tanz Koeln in 2014, the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang in 2016, the Ebe Stignani competition at Imola and the Meistersinger von Nuernberg competition in 2018, and the Queen Sonja International Music Competition in 2019. In 2021 the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro took him into the Accademia Rossiniana Alberto Zedda, where he sang Conte di Libenskof in Il viaggio a Reims. Don Ramiro, Conte Almaviva, Lindoro and Nemorino have carried him to the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the Latvian National Opera, the Tiroler Landestheater, Glyndebourne and Konzert Theater Bern.
