My Everything

My Everything is the fifth track of Evolution, the album Anastacia released on 15 September 2017. It was written and recorded in Stockholm in the summer of 2016 with the producer Anders Bagge, who shaped nearly the entire record in one continuous block of sessions. Slower than the singles that frame it, the song belongs to the soul side of an album that deliberately alternates between ballads and rock numbers. Reviewers singled out the melodic writing on these quieter tracks as the album's strongest material.
