Shturche

Shturche — Cricket — is a Lili Ivanova standard by the composer Nayden Andreev, sung under the fuller title Sviri, shturche. In her concerts it is one of the numbers that brings the audience to its feet, and reviewers use it as the marker of the point where a Lili Ivanova evening turns from listening into singing along. Andreev withheld permission for it at one of her anniversary concerts, in another of the rights disputes around her repertoire.
