Auditorio Municipal de Siero

Built on the site of a former football pitch in La Pola, the seat of the Siero council in Asturias, the auditorium is one part of a complex that also holds the Casa de la Música and the municipal library. Its massing is a stack of cubes that gives no idea from outside of the size of the rooms within. Opera has kept a steady place in the programme — Madama Butterfly, La traviata, Rigoletto and Aida among the titles — alongside symphonic concerts, ballet and musicals.
