Center for the Performing Arts Pound

Pound lies in the coalfield country of far south-western Virginia, close to the Kentucky line — one of those small Appalachian towns whose performing arts centres bring touring opera and concert companies within reach of an audience a long way from any city. Puccini's 'La bohème' has been among the works given there.
