Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall

The decision to build was taken in 1957, Marijan Haberle's design went up between 1961 and 1973 with interruptions, and the hall opened on 29 December 1973. It stands in Trnje, south of the main station on Ulica grada Vukovara, and is listed as a protected cultural property. The large room seats 1,847 and holds a large organ; the small one seats 304. Eurovision was staged there in 1990. It is where Zagreb hears its visiting orchestras, and where the Lovro von Matačić international conducting competition is held.
