Festival Chamber Orchestra

Los Angeles carries a freelance orchestral economy far larger than its concert halls suggest, sustained by the studios and by a deep pool of conservatory-trained string players; ensembles form, work a season or a series, and disperse again. Festival Chamber Orchestra belongs to that world, at the size that suits Vivaldi's concerti and the earlier Mozart piano concertos — both of which it has played.
