Kirche Berlin-Neu-Buckow

On Berlin's southern edge, in the old village core of Buckow, a parish church does the double duty familiar across the city: services for its own congregation, and concerts for anyone who will come. Bach has been played beneath its roof — the Air and Gavotte from the Third Orchestral Suite among the pieces heard. Churches of this kind carry a surprising share of Berlin's chamber and small-orchestral music.
