The Centro de Congresos y Exposiciones de Barbastro opened in December 2006 beside the River Vero. Its facilities include a 499-seat theatre-auditorium, meeting rooms, exhibition galleries and a multipurpose hall of nearly 1,000 square metres. Designed to accommodate several activities at once, the centre combines performing arts with conferences and exhibitions. It stands near the town's larger fairground facilities, which provide additional indoor and outdoor space for major events.
